The Finance and General Services (F&GS) Department provides support services for the Bureau and ensures satisfaction of the Bureau’s internal and external stakeholders.

The Department is made up of five (5) Units, namely:

  1. Finance & Accounts Unit
  2. Human Resource Development Unit
  3. Procurement Unit
  4. Information Technology Services Unit
  5. General Administration Unit

Specifically, The Department ensures the following:

  • Effective functioning of the Bureau’s facility in order to provide efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the Bureau
  • Overall direction, leadership, management, supervision and administration of the Human Resources functions of BPE
  • Effective delivery of service by the IT service unit to the Bureau’s processes and staff
  • Internal and external customer satisfaction with procurement processes in BPE
  • Financial transaction adhere to accounting standards and regulations.
