Technical Assistance
Provides technical input in the development and refinement of policies aimed at improving the performance and financial viability of the power sector to strengthened public and investor confidence in Nigeria’s power sector reform agenda.
Capacity Building
Supports capacity development within government agencies, utilities, and private sector operators.
Requirement
BPE needs sub-national support and seeks for USAID assiatnce who will advise BPE on the effectively way of handling the unboundling exercised.
Previous Interaction/Relationship
USAID has been actively involved in Nigeria’s power sector providing BPE with support via its Power Africa initiative. It has in recentimes provided capacitybuilding training in PPPs.
Current Engagement
Following several meetings, the BPE seeks continued support and in particular support with PPP PPF.
