Aisha Bashir Tukur is a seasoned professional with experience in both the private and public sectors. She holds a B.Sc. in Accountancy from the University of Maiduguri and a Master of Governance and Public Policy (MGPP) from the University of Queensland, Australia.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certified Public-Private Partnerships Professional (CP3P), Aisha brings strong technical expertise and a proven track record in economic reform and strategic transactions.
She began her career at Ecobank Nigeria before joining the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) where she has built a career across several strategic departments and units. These include the Operations Department, Monitoring & Compliance Unit, Internal Audit Unit, Facilities and Agricultural Resources Department, Infrastructure & Public Private Partnership (I&PPP) Department, and the Energy Department.
Aisha Bashir Tukur currently serves as Director of the Energy Sector Department at BPE and represents the Bureau as Alternate Director on the Board of Egbin Power Plc.
