Toibudeen Oduniyi

Toibudeen Oduniyi is the Director of the Post Transaction Management Department in BPE.

Toibudeen Oduniyi holds a B.Sc Degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, PostGraduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from  the South Bank University and M.Sc in Business Information Systems from the University of East London.

He is an accomplished professional who has worked for several blue-chip organisations in Europe including BP Oil UK, Merrill Lynch Europe, Coutts Bank, TIBCO Software and, Marks and Spencer Plc.

His experience spans many sectors participating as Design Authority and Technical Lead on numerous large IT Change and Business Transformation programs with a focus on Information Security and Risk Management.

An experienced business technologist, relationship manager and leader, with proven success in delivering technology-related, strategy and general consulting engagements, he ran a Consulting and Technology firm where he led the company’s team in delivering enterprise consultancy services to various clients in Nigeria.

With an excellent grasp of business and economic issues, Toibudeen has participated in many Strategy workshops responsible for critically reviewing the current state of many organisations and making game changing policy recommendations.

He served on the Board of the National Identity Management Commission and the Nigeria Canada Investment Forum GTE.

He currently serves as  the Federal Government Alternate Director on the Boards of the  Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC), Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution (PHEDC)and Transcorp Hilton Hotels Plc.

Oduniyi is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Information Technology Professional.

He is a recipient of many awards including; the

  • Nigeria Centenary Award UK 2014
  • International Recognition Awards Business Technologist of the year 2014
  • Ijebu-Ode Grammar School Old Boys Association 7883 (JOGSOBA Abimbola Kehinde Set) Merit Award 2013 and the
  • East London University Mentee of the year 1995.

The Director is a keen lover of the Arts with a keen passion for music and travelling. He writes and speaks regularly on contemporary social and economic issues in Nigeria.
